When we treat schools as someone else’s responsibility, our whole city suffers. Strong schools mean safer streets, higher property values, and a brighter future for everyone.

We’ll strengthen school partnerships by:

  • Funding after-school programs and student-led initiatives through city grants
  • Prioritizing public safety near campuses and traffic calming around schools
  • Collaborating with the districts to increase internship, mentorship, and dual-enrollment opportunities
  • Expanding the Emerging Leaders Council to ensure youth are heard in our partnership with schools
